This might sound silly but it works for me – I imagine my betting app with a terrible slogan like “We’re here to take your money!” or “Making you broke since 2020!” Helps me remember the reality behind the flashy graphics and promises of big wins. Also, I make a gratitude list every day of things I can afford/do because I’m NOT gambling excessively. Really puts things in perspective.
