Ugh. This whole “legal in Canada unless your province hasn’t sorted it yet” situation is driving me nuts. Why did Ontario get the progressive open market in April 2022? Meanwhile, BC’s stuck on PlayNow (fine, public monopoly), Quebec has Espacejeux, SK just got PlayNow via SIGA in 2022, Alberta’s live in gaming-tax land but no online casino, PEI/NL nothing except offshore, and Territories…nope. And all this while offshore sites promise crypto withdrawals, fancy bonuses, but licences from distant places. At least there’s info out there to help navigate. But man, it sure would be easier if Canada just, you know, had a federal gaming policy or national registry; instead we’re stuck patchwork-playing our way through it.
