For what it’s worth, if you’re specifically into poker, Playground in Kahnawake just hosted WPT events and got rave reviews. The atmosphere sounds incredible – apparently everyone’s super friendly and social, not like those hoodie-wearing grinders you see everywhere else. Plus it’s technically on native land so different regulations might mean better player treatment? Haven’t been myself but planning a trip soon based on all the positive buzz. They run daily tournaments with decent structures, starting stacks of 15k-25k chips which is way better than most small buy-in events. Only downside is it’s not technically in Montreal proper, but 15-20 minutes isn’t bad for potentially much better action.
