My favorite small but huge win was at an airport actually. Flight got delayed I was bored and annoyed so I bought one of those cheesy €3 scratchcards from the kiosk. Hit €100 which basically covered my extra food drinks and a hotel voucher I ended up needing when the delay turned into an overnight stay. It didn’t change my life but it completely flipped the mood of that whole trip from stressful to “okay this is an adventure now.” That’s the kind of memory that sticks with you way more than the faceless spins at home.
