oh man, one time I was playing a home game with some buddies, and I was convinced I had learned how to play texas hold um after reading a poker online tutorial. I was sitting on two pair, queens and nines, and I was so sure it was unbeatable. The guy next to me kept calling every bet I made, which made me think he was bluffing. Turned out, he was sitting on a straight, and I just kept feeding him chips. That game cost me more than I care to admit. It really taught me to never underestimate the other players, no matter how confident you feel about your hand.
