i got crushed by a bot once. yeah, a bot. i was playing online poker without real money, just practicing, and didn’t realize I had set it up to play against AI. thought I had the upper hand when I hit a flush, but that thing was relentless. it folded when it had nothing, and as soon as I had a good hand, it would raise me out of nowhere. on one hand, it hit a full house on the river, and I was done. after that, I swore off playing poker vs bot until I got better at reading the board and knowing how to play against real players.
