I was playing in a texas hold’em no money game, just practicing my strategy, when I made a classic beginner mistake. I had a flush draw on the turn and went all-in, thinking I could scare off the other players. They called, and I didn’t hit my flush. I lost everything in that hand and realized that chasing draws can be really risky. It’s a tough lesson, but one every poker beginner needs to learn at some point. Now I’m way more careful when playing poker for fun online, even if it’s just practice.
